Concrete Leveling FAQs

  • Concrete is strong and durable. However, it is only as stable as the soil underneath. Over time, the soil can wash away. When the soil erodes, it cracks and develops holes called voids. The soil becomes weak and unable to support the concrete slab above it. This causes the slab to sink.

  • Concrete leveling in the Dallas Metroplex is better than a complete replacement if your concrete slab is intact. For a replacement, you must pay to remove and dispose of materials, deliver new concrete, and pour a new slab.

    With Polyjacking, you can expect to pay between $5 to $25 per square foot. Before making a choice, consider getting an estimate.

  • An effective concrete leveling method like Polyjacking can last as long as the concrete, which could last over 25 years.

  • The concrete leveling process usually takes a few hours but can take several days for bigger jobs. Keeping off the concrete for at least 24 hours after leveling to allow for the holes to cure is recommended.
